Dương Đông market

Duong Dong market is next to Duong Dong river, in the center of Duong Dong town, Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province. It is the largest market on the island.

The market is opening from early morning. Always crowded with buyers and sellers, boat wharf. The local people can find everything for their needs here. The most abundant items of this market are fresh seafood and dried seafood that have been caught by fishing boats and to the market directly. 

In addition, there are souvenirs booths areas located close together,along the dock. This area, just open from at about 5 pm and close as soon as the night fall.

Dương Đông market is the place that you can find local food specialities in the morning, which could not be found elsewhere in any restaurants in this island.
